| Visions of Excellence Part 2 |
|
In following the example of Daniel, we have to keep in mind that people are watching us as God’s people, not for what we are doing, but more so for what we are not. Returning from Jackson Tennessee was our speaker for the main Friday serviceBishop Nathaniel Bond. Children of God, the presence of God was very much overflowing in this service. There were moments where our minds wondered if indeed our speaker would have to deliver a message. However, Bishop Bond delivered an awesome and awe inspiring message entitled “New Seasons and New Dimensions” from 1 Corinthians 12:27-31. Bishop helped us to further know God is calling us to another level or dimension. But we have to be ready; partly by weaning ourselves from old ways and traditions for old ways and traditions sake. Because of the urgent nature of the times one of the many things we have to readily recognize is when God has removed the training wheels (Hebrews 5:12). In masterful fashion, if there is one thing Bishop etched into each person, it is the understanding that God wants and expects change. The conference concluded on Sunday evening with our keynote speaker joining us from the city of Trenton New Jersey, in the person of Prophetess Marcia Morrison. Prophetess Morrison enriched the lives of so many with a very stirring message firmly based in the area of practical living. She began with an understanding of how to think in terms of combat. She captivated the attention of all in attendance with sound strategies and applications in fighting life issues. Some these issues come with requirements. These requirements are that we become more supportive of one another. |

Prophetess Marcia Morrison At the same time we have to learn to think bigger than we are accustomed to. All this in our practical lives leads us to being more well rounded, thus more excellent people. Visions of Excellence Part 2 was a tremendous success. If you missed the Vision’s Conference this year, make plans to join the O’Fallon Apostolic Assembly next year (…Lord delay his return and be wiling and merciful). |
