| Visions of Excellence Part 2 |

Our schedule for Thursday evening had called for Bishop Lambert Gates; but through a series of misfortunate events, he was unable to be in attendance. However we serve a gracious God, as there is no such thing as coincidence in him. For we know all things work together for good (Romans 8:28). Following a decision to join us a day early, was our Friday 6 pm service speaker, Bishop Ron L. Webb of Poplar Bluff Missouri. He most humbly took the reigns and delivered a power packed message to all in attendance. Dear friends, this was one of the finest examples of being instant a person could find, searching the span of the globe. The subject for the night: “Take What’s Left and Make It Work” from 2 Kings 4:1-6. His aim was on helping the children of God to shift their spiritual focus. The basis of the message was to awaken us to how the enemy shows us what we don’t have, but never what we have left. On another level Dr. Webb helped us to change our understanding to know God isn’t just going to do everything for us. In this relationship, we have responsibilities. One such responsibility is to “Stop complaining about what you don’t have and start praising for what you do, because whatever you have is enough to start you over.” New to the schedule of services, we enjoyed the added blessing of an early evening service. Once again the speaker for the hour was none other than “God’s Mouthpiece from the Southeast” Bishop Ronnie Webb. Continuing in the same spiritual vein as in the preceding evening, Dr. Webb delivered yet another highly anointed and power packed message entitled “Operating in the Spirit of Excellence” from Daniel, chapters 1 and 6:1-2. His primary focus was on our obligation to excellent service. In this message Dr. Webb stressed the importance of knowing how to serve. |

With the understanding that many things such as Favor from God are the result of service, the church has to be prepared for something different (change). This is accomplished when the people get into place and know their assignments (the Sons of Issachar). |
