| Visions of Excellence Part 2 |

However the keynote speaker for the evening was Bishop Mark C. Tolbert of Kansas City Missouri. His subject, “The Time is Now” from Ephesians 3:1-7. His focus was on directing our attention to understanding the importance of seizing the moment by gaining a better perceptive of God’s grace; thereby living a more balanced Christian life, no longer walking in fear, but living a more abundant life and being plentifully blessed. On Wednesday evening, and much to her surprise, the O’Fallon Apostolic Assembly honored a great woman of God in the person of District Elder Elect Pastor Ilona W. Dickson. The accomplishments of Pastor Dickson are enormous as she is a woman of many firsts. However, in reciprocation, as Pastor of the Radiant Life in Christ of St. Louis Missouri, the OAA church family was embraced by a staunch supporter, as well as sister and true friend in the Lord. On the same evening, our keynote speaker Dr. Gwendolyn Weeks of Boston Massachusetts stepped in and elevated the house to another dimension of God’s Glory. Her subject; “Don’t Give Your Treasure Away”, revealed from 2 Cor. 11:1-4, 10-15, and John 14:26-27, 20:20-22. Her assignment was to help the house in recognizing the techniques and traits of the “Thief” and the “Con-artist”. She helped us to see everyone as a potential victim for the Con-artist. From the deception of Mother Eve, into present day, Dr. Weeks revealed an in depth word study opening all God has given us as well as what the enemy comes to steal. In the words of Dr Weeks, “We’ve got to stop falling for cons, and giving our stuff over to the enemy.”
