Singles Ministry

Mission Statement:

As of February 2006 the Singles Ministry of the O’Fallon Apostolic Assembly Church is called to be devoted in both body and spirit, and to abide in the calling wherein God has called us.  According to 1 Corinthians 7: 24, 32  ²⁴Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.   ³²But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord.

Singleness faces certain issues; i.e. purpose, loneliness, sexuality, contentment, service and ministry.  So often singles put their lives on hold waiting for a mate, but the Word of God says abide in your calling.  Our calling is singleness at such a time as this and it is God’s will that we be pleasing unto Him.

Vision Statement:

The O’Fallon Apostolic Singles Ministry vision is to support the singles in their spiritual growth and development that they may be empowered to do the ministry that God has called them to do.  Currently the ministry provides classes once a month on Sunday mornings.  The Singles Ministry will continue to provide classes for the singles in the year of 2007.
